With a soulful voice, and lyrical vulnerability, 24-year-old Jarulah coming from the Goodjinburra people group of the Bundjalung Nation has emerged as one of Australias talented new singer songwriters. Jarulah is a rising multi-talented, multi-lingual artist, working across soul and hip hop, combined with his traditional langauge and rhythms , pushing boundaries of musical genres and making way for a new sound in the music industry. Since birth Jarulah has been immersed in music. Coming from a big indigenous family of talented musicians, his parents hit the road visiting remote communities around the country, practicing traditional culture and music which proved immensely inspiring as he grew up around creatives of all kinds immersed in art, music and culture, between a world of ancient tradition and modern sound.
